Ergonomic upholstered seat with forward sloping edge and Integral foam bumper guard. Seat measures 20.5" wide. With 5/8" thick (9-ply) seat board. Nominal foam thickness 2" with 4° rearward angle. Functional seat depth of the 1F seat is 18".

Metal parts coated in black powder coated finish for standard working environments.

Backrest height adjustment feature allows for adjustment up or down 3", quickly and securely (without the use of a noisy ratchet mechanism). Back measures 17.5" wide by 19.5" tall with 3/8" thick (5-ply) back board and 1 1/2" foam thickness. 4mm (5/32") thick polypropylene back panel with edge guard.

Large, five-legged, solid cast aluminum base with caster-to-caster diameter of 28.7" and maximum width of 27.4". T-cross-section legs ensure cleanability, and endure test loads of 1.5-2x BIFMA strength requirements. Features standard 50-mm tapered hub (1° 26' 16" (Morse) taper) with gauge line elevation of 113mm from the caster insert plane. The base is cast out of UNI EN 46100 aluminum with a robotically polished top surface to ensure quality and consistency.

For high working heights such as standing height benches measuring 33.5" up to 40+". Provides a range of 21.5" - 32".

Two inches in height, with dual soft-wheels. Casters resist movement when the seat is unoccupied. Plastic collar around caster stem to match base. Standard casters have grey tread.

Control allows function of the seat height activation and backrest adjustments by means of easily engaged levers which can be activated from the seated position. Seat tilt is fixed at 3-1/2° rearward while the backrest adjusts 8° forward and 13° rearward.

22" dia. aluminum foot ring includes easy-to-operate hub – push down top of center bushing, adjust to desired height, and release to lock the foot ring into place. 22" flattened tubing ring is attached to the cast aluminum spokes with stainless steel screws, which utilize a T-cross section to provide a clean, cohesive look for models with aluminum (A / P25), reinforced composite (R / GR) or wide aluminum (W / P28) bases. Recommended for models with seat heights greater than 22 inches.
