Black, self-skinned urethane seat with waterfall front, shaped rear edge and 0.09375" ventilating ribs; measures 18.5" wide x 17" deep x 1.5" thick.

Also known as "1000-K". All chair parts are selected to assure ISO class 6 clean room compatibility, including vinyl underwrap of seat bottom with filter media, plus ESD treatment as described in performance package "K".

Black, self-skinned urethane backrest with integral lumbar support and 0.09375" ventilating ribs; measures 16.5" wide x 12.5" high.

Small, five-legged tubular base with caster-to-caster diameter of 23.0" and maximum width of 22.8". Welded 1" x 14-gauge steel tubular legs ensure uncompromised strength, withstanding test loads of 2x BIFMA strength requirements. Features standard 50mm, steel-reinforced, tapered hub (1° 26' 16" (Morse) taper) with gauge line elevation of 203mm from the caster insert plane. Steel tubular ring (tube: 1" by 18-gauge, ring: 21" dia.) welded to top of legs. A reinforced nylon insert at the end of each leg adapts the 1" x 14-gauge leg to accept a caster or glide stem. The welds at the hub are concealed by a two-piece, polypropylene cover.

For medium height work surfaces such as workbenches 32" to 39" high. Provides a range of 20" - 27".

Two inches in height, with dual soft-wheels. Casters resist movement when the seat is unoccupied. Plastic collar around caster stem to match base. Black tread indicates an ESD caster.

Control allows function of the seat height activation and backrest adjustments by means of easily engaged levers which can be activated from the seated position. Seat tilt is fixed at 3-1/2° rearward while the backrest adjusts 8° forward and 13° rearward.
